2026 ELECTION INFORMATION
NOTICE OF ELECTION
CITY OF ST. JOHNS
St. Johns Municipal Elections are scheduled for 2026. Due to Arizona State Legislature policy decisions, the regular City of St. Johns elections will now be held during the fall elections of even numbered years.
For the 2026 Election, all registered voters will be voting at the Primary Election on August 4, 2026 and General Election on November 3, 2026. Please note; A candidate receiving a majority of all votes cast at the Primary Election will be declared elected without running at the General Election if requirements are met under A.R.S. 9-821.01 and A.R.S. 16-645.
Due to elections now being held with regular County, State, and federal elections, all voters will vote at the precinct of which the registered voter belongs (St. Johns Pera Gym 75 W. Cleveland).
For the 2026 Election, St. Johns voters will be considering:
Four City Council seats (4-year term)
Seeking Candidates, packets due no earlier than March 9, 2026 and no later than April 6, 2026 by 5:00 p.m.
Packets will be ready on TBA, 2026 at the City Hall Clerks Office.
To register to vote, you may obtain a registration form at Apache County Recorders Office. Apache County voter registration closes for August Election on July 6, 2026 and the November Election closes October 5, 2026.
