2024 ELECTION INFORMATION
NOTICE OF ELECTION
PUBLICE NOTICE OF THE CITY OF ST. JOHNS
Notice is hereby given that the City of St. Johns will hold the PRIMARY election as follows: *PRIMARY Election: Tuesday, July 30, 2024. Offices to be filled: Three (3) City Council Members. Candidate packets are available at the City Hall, located at 70 E Commercial. Candidate packet filing deadline: Monday, April 1, 2024 by 5 p.m.
Location of the polling place: Apache County 75 W Cleveland. The Election will be held in conjunction with the state and county election.
Candidate qualifications: Candidates seeking nomination for local office (including write-in candidates) must be a “qualified electors” at the time of filing their nomination papers. Be at least 18 years old at the time of filing their nomination papers. Meet local residency requirements: Reside in the City limits for at least one-year next preceding the election which he/she is running. And be able to speak, write, and read the English language.

*A candidate receiving a majority of all votes cast at the Primary Election will be declared elected without running at the General Elections if requirements are met under A.R.S. 9-821.01 and A.R.S. 16-645.
