Reminder to Use Water Wisely
    The City would like to remind residents about city ordinace No. 125, which is designed to reduce the waste of water by restricting outdoor water usage during certain times of the day and under certan conditions.  The ordinance states that "overhead watering of lawns or other landscaping using city water is not permitted between the hours of 10am and 6pm, or at any time during windy conditions, from May 1st to September 30th each year."  AN exception is made for lawns and landscaping that are watered using a private well, requiring, however, that a sign with the words "WELL WATER" be prominently displayed so as to be plainly seen from the street.  Thank you for your cooperation and efforts to conseve water.
